Andrea Last Day Before Starting Work
Sea Life Centre Brighton Museum Alpha |
||
|
Today was Andrea's last day off before she started started at Sussex Uni, so we'd decided to go out and do some stuff to make the most o fit. We had a nice lie in and then go up and had our breakfast and left the house about 10.30am or so. It was a lovely sunny day but there was a cold wind. We parked on Madeira Drive and went to the Sea Life Centre. Which is always good, and they'd changed a fair bit of stuff since we'd been there last so it was even more interesting. They had a big turtle tank with about 10 turtles in from the Cayman Islands. After spending about an hour and a half in there we walked over to the Brighton Museum which had a couple of interesting displays. The first one was a big exhibition about the history of Brighton which was really interesting and then the other was all about Brighton Boozers. Made on way back home about 3.30pm and we saw Wendy as we were walking back to the car so we stopped and chatted to her. In the evening we had Alpha which went well again. It was "How does God Guide" Dave Trenner did the talk and he was very good. Dropped Dan home after that and got in about 10.40pm |

Jodie came over for lunch
Fixed Andrea's Laptop |
||
| Didn't do much much today. Got up late and then Andrea's friend Jodie came over at about 11am. I went to sainsburys to pick up some bits and then we all had lunch together. Jodie left about 3pm. In the evening we decided to have a go at fixing Andrea's laptop computer. The screen had gone all funny and wasn't working properly. We looked up this problem on the Internet and its apparently a common problem with that make of laptop. Anyway we'd bought a cable off ebay which is meant to fix the problem it was just a case of getting the old one out and the new one in. It took a good couple of hours or more so but eventually did it successfully! I was very impressed we managed it to be honest! Although we did have 3 screws left after we'd put all back together! After that we had some dinner and watched a bit of TV | ||

Peter Nodding From Purley Baptist Church Preached
at Both Services
Andrea Singing with Kate Simmonds Helped John and Lisa Watched The Patriot |
||
| Got up fairly late and went to church for 10.30am. Peter Nodding from Purley Baptist Church was taking both the morning and evening services. In the morning he preached from Mark 1:1-20. After the service we stayed around chatting for a while and then came home via sainsburys, and had some lunch. Andrea had to be church at 4.30pm for a special singing practice with Kate Simmonds who is a professional musician who was going to be leading worship at the evening service. After I dropped her off I went over to John and Lisa's to help John put some stuff in the loft. That was really nice to get some time just chatting and drinking tea. Putting stuff in the loft was nice and easy and quick as well but you did two people to do it. I went straight to church again for the evening service. Kate Simmonds lead the worship time which was fantastic! Peter Nodding was preaching again from Mark 1:21-45. That was a good service. We stayed for a fair while after the service chatting to few people. When we got we watched most of "The Patriot" which was on TV. Seemed like an OK film. I generally like stuff with Mel Gibson in but I couldn't stay awake to watch the end. | ||

Felt a Bit Ruff I slept really badly in the night and was feeling a bit ruff from the cold I had felt coming on for a few days. Got up and checked out in the morning about 10am. Left our bags at the hotel and went out for walk to find somewhere we could have a nice breakfast. We walked up to the square and the fresh cold air made me feel a bit better. We found a place that looked and had eggs, bacon, coffee and rolls. That was nice and I felt much better after I'd eaten. For the rest of the day we just wondered round really doing another one of the walks that was in our guide book and going on a tour of the brewery that we'd missed the other day/ That was good except we missed the call for our tour and had to go an hour later! We also stocked up on chocolate to bring back home with us. We then went back to the hotel for a couple of beers before heading home. We left the hotel about 5.30pm and went to the station and got on a train to Brussels. Then it was a bit of hanging around at the eurostar as we'd got there in plenty of time but that was OK really we just sat and read out books. Uneventful journey home really. We were very lucky with connections to Brighton, getting straight on trains and no hanging around and got straight in a taxi at Brighton station which was good. Got home by about 11.30pm |

Coffee and Waffle
Breakfast We got up late and left our room about 10.15am. We went over the road to a nice tea room type place that did breakfasts. We had coffee and Belgium waffles! The coffee cam on a tray with lots of other things on as well like a small shot glass of some sort of advocate stuff and chocolates. Then we walked up the road to the church of our lady, which was an impressive Catholic church with the highest brick spire in the world! It also has a statue by Michael Angleo, which was OK but nothing better than other statues Then we walked up to the market square and went to the Belfry tower. I didn't go up as spiral staircase aren't a good mix for me! Andrea went up though and I waited at the bottom for her. Then we did a couple of walks from our guide book which were good as they took you all over the city. Then we had lunch in a little cafe near the hotel. While we were walking we saw an advert for the chocolate museum and thought that sounded pretty good. So we strolled up to that and had a look round. There was a guy making chocolate there so we got some free samples. After all that we went back to the hotel and Andrea had a sleep while I read my book. Then we came down to the hotel bar for a couple of beers and then we headed off to a really good restaurant by the lake of love. That was fantastic. The menu was all in French so we just had the set menu which was 6 courses! All fairly small though. We got there about 8pm and there was only one other couple there. The interior was very plush and we felt very posh! The chef obviously own the place and he came over and said hello. We didn't leave until about 11pm. One of the best restaurant I've been to! |

Left for our 2 nights in Brugge Got up, packed up our bags etc then left to house about 9.40am to walk down to Moulsecoomb station. It was snowing! Got tickets and then got on the train to Brighton station. From here we got straight on to the Clapham Junction train and from there pretty much straight on to a Waterloo train, so the journey wasn't too bad. At Waterloo we went straight to the e-ticket machine at Eurostar and got our tickets for the train to Brugge. Then we had a bit of time to kill so we popped into Boots to get a travel plug adapter (which didn't work) Then we went to W H Smiths to get some books as I'd forgotten mine! Fortunately after all that we still had time for a burger king and to grab a couple of baguettes from upper crust before we went to check in. While we were at Burger King a homeless man kept asking us for money for a cup of tea, so Andrea offered to buy him a cup of tea but he just wanted the money! After checking in we had a little bit of time to wait so we got a half at the little pub there and waiter to be called. We got on the 12.40pm which left on time and was a nice journey. We saw a fair bit of settled snow in southern Kent. I started the book I'd brought in Smiths but decided it was absolute rubbish. Got to Brussels fine (as that's where we had to change trains) but as we left the platform some glass doors decided they would attempt to cut me half but I got through, however, Andrea was then stranded on the other side and they wouldn't open again! Fortunately there were some other doors which did stay open! When we got into Brussels station we couldn't find the train to Brugge. We wondered around for a while but there was no sign of a train to Brugge. Eventually we asked at some kind on information desk and he told us what platform we had to go to. The train from Brussels to Brugge was about 50mins or so. It was very busy. We got to Brugge and easily worked out the route to walk to our hotel. We arrived at the hotel about 5.30pm. It was a short walk by a canal. We stayed at the Hotel Academie, which wasn't all that really. The room was a bit weird and laid out in a very strange way. That was a a bit disappointing. Anyway we dropped our stuff off, then went out. We had a walk up to the main square called `The Markt`. It was very quiet out. There weren't many places like pubs. They were all like restaurants. Eventually we found one called De Craenenburg that was more pub-ish, so we popped in there and had a half litre of a lager called Juliper which was nice. Then we went to try and find a restaurant that the guide book recommended. We think we found it but it was very empty so we just had another juliper. From that restaurant we could see one that looked really nice across the canal so after we'd finished in there we went across the canal to check that one out, but it was a bit too posh and pricey for the like of us! We walked back to the square and eventually found a restaurant that looked nice so went in and got a table by the window. The restaurant was fairly small but was packed and everyone was really close together. There was also a big open fire that they were cooking meat and fish on like a BBQ! We got some red wine in and ordered our food. We skipped the starters and went straight for main. I had a 7 meat platter! fantastic! Andrea had a monkfish dish. For dessert Andrea had apple pie and I had a crepe suzette. Both were flaming! We left there about 10.30pm and were the last to leave. All the streets were empty and it not well lit but you felt very safe there. We got back to the hotel about 10.45pm |

Went to Town to Get Ronan a Birthday Present |
||
| Got up had breakfast then we called Juliet to see what Ronan wanted for his birthday. She called us back a bit later, then we went into town to get it. We spent a while looking for what it was he wanted but got one in the end. It was a spiderman toy which he could play with in the bath. We also got him some blowing bubbles that you can catch and a dinasaur book. Then we went straight from town up to Juliet's place and her friend Steph was there with her two kids. That was good. We stayed a couple of hours or so. Gave Ronan his present etc. Then we went to pick up Kian from school with Juliet and Kian. It was good to see his school and where it was. He was surprised to see us! Then we all walked back to their house and Me and Andrea then got the car and drove back to ours. Andrea made some flapjacks for house group in the afternoon and we looked at the study. Then House group came over to our place at 8pm. Not that many of us tonight as a few people were ill or had other things come up, but it was a good evening. After house group we did a bit of packing for our trip to Brugge the next day | ||

Went to Play Pool with Gava
Played Computer Games Went to Alpha |
||
| Didn't do a great deal this morning really just pottered around, played on the computer a bit. Lunch time I watched some more "Futurama Season 1". After lunch I drove to London Road as I was meeting Gava at 2pm to go and play some pool at Reilys. Couldn't find a parking space by the level so I had to use the multi-storey car park behind London Road. Got to Reilys just in time. That was really good to meet up with Gava. Hadn't really seen him for ages. We rejoined the club as it was ages since we'd been and stayed for a couple of hours of so. Gava beat me 3 games to 2 in the end. It was great to get out of the house really as well. After playing pool we both popped into the Somerfields to get a couple of bits then came home. When I got in I played a bit of "Age of Empires: Rise of Rome" which I hadn't played in a while so that was good. Picked Andrea up about 6.10pm from moulsecoomb. She'd had a good time Nottingham with Ruth, Mark and Evie. Had half an hour at home and then went Alpha at church. That was really good. There was just the 6 of us this time which was quite nice really. Martin did the talk about "How and Why Should I Pray". We had a good evening. Dropped Dan home and got in around 10.40pm or so. I played a little more "Age of Empires: Rise of Rome"and then went to bed and started to read Agatha Christie's "A Mysterious Affair At Styles" Which seems quite good | ||

Dropped Andrea off at Station to go to Nottingham
Me and Dad fixed the Garage Light Watched Hotshots Part Deux |
||
| Got up about 7.30am and we all had breakfast together. Then I dropped Andrea at Moulsecoomb station for the 8.26am as she was getting a train up to Nottingham to see her friend Ruth and see their baby Evie, for a couple of days. Me and Dad then had a another go at sorting out the light in the garage. This time we actually got somewhere with it and got it working off the mains switch so I think we'll leave it at that for now. Then we had some lunch and chatted for a while, and I dropped him at Brighton station about 12.30pm to get the train back home. Then I had to go and collect a package that was at the post office for me. It was the colour print cartridge I'd been waiting for. Just spent the rest of the afternoon and evening pottering around really. I watched some more "Futurama Season 1" and also watched "Hotshots Part Deux" which was alright seeing as I was very bored. | ||

Kids Club Service
Watch Mike Finish Brighton Half Marathon Lunch at ZiZi's with Anne, Mike and Dad Evening Service Watched Futurama |
||
| It was the kids club Sunday service in the morning so it was a slightly shorter service than usual and the church was really packed as all the kids and parents were in for the whole service. About 400 in the church I reckon. So it was lots of silly songs etc. After church we went went to park near the bingo hall in kemp town and walked down to near the Concorde 2 to meet Dad and Anne and see Mike finish the Brighton half marathon. He finished in 1 hour 51 minutes! The weather was awful though and it was raining so we didn't stay too long after he finished and made our way back to Anne and Mikes with Dad. Had some coffee there and warmed up for a bit and mike showered and changed. Then we drove to the south laines to have lunch at zizzi's but the underground car park near the thistle hotel was full, but lucky we found a space near Mr choys. Me and dad ran to the newsagents to get parking vouchers, but they'd sold out so we ran to the next one. They'd also sold out so was ran to a third one which had them! Put them on the car and then went for lunch. That was really nice. It was a celebration of me and Andrea getting our new jobs and for Mike finishing the half marathon in one piece. We left there about 4pm or so and went back to Anne and Mikes for a cup of tea. Andrea was singing at church in the evening so she went early and then the rest of went of 6.30pm. Dave Trenner preached from 2 Peter which was an OK sermon. Dad came back to ours to stay the night and sat up chatting for a bit and then watched a couple of episodes of "Futurama Season 1" | ||

Orienteering at North Ashdown
Watched The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance Early Night |
||
| Got up about 8am and got ready to go orienteering at North Ashdown near Crowborough. The weather wasn't very good and it started to rain as we left the house about 9.15am but by the time we got the North Ashdown is was dry and didn't look like it had rained there yet today. We did the orange course again and as we started the whole course was covered in mist. The ground was very boggy and the air very misty and wet. I was nearly knee deep in a bog at one point! We did a good run but were both shattered at the end. Got home about 11.30am or so. I had a nice bath and then we sat chilled as we were both tired. Had lunch, read out bibles etc. In the afternoon I watched "The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance" which was actually pretty good. After that we had some of the left over chicken and chirizo for dinner and just had an early night about 9.30pm | ||

||
| Got up late again and I didn't have any breakfast. We went out to Currys to look at cookers but when we got there we had to wait 10 minutes before it opened so Andrea let me have a burger from the burger van for my breakfast! As we were waiting for the burger to be ready we saw Chris Wallis. He came over and said hello. We saw a cooker we liked in Currys and then went to Wenban Smith to look at work tops. Saw one we liked there as well. On the way home we popped into B+Q to get some picture hooks to put up the polar bear picture I got from WWF. Got home about 12.30pm and then just pottered around really for the rest of the afternoon. About 7.40pm we left to go for dinner at Louise Stevensons. Justin and Simone were already there when we got there, then Vik and Did turned up just after us. Louise cooked some really nice fish cakes for starters and some meat balls and spaghetti for main. It was really good evening. Really good to get to know them all better. | ||

Went To Lyndhurst Went To Anne And Mikes Watched Troy |
||
| Got up late as it was Andrea's first day of job freedom. We had breakfast and then I went out to meet Andy at church. I saw Andy as I parked up . We had a chat and then drove up to the Lyndhurst Rest Home to talk to them about coming there and doing a short service. Got there and we chatted to the manageress and arranged to come back and chat to the old folk. The management seemed friendly. Then I came home and we had lunch. Adrian Spencer was meant to pop round and have a look at the kitchen but he had to cancel. In the afternoon Anne phoned and invited us over to their place as Juliet was there with the kids. On the way there we popped into Comet on the Lewes road and choose a fridge freezer and a washing machine. We stayed about an hour and a half. In the evening I made a chicken and chorizo and we watched `Troy` which I was expecting to be a bit crap but it was actually pretty good. | ||

I meet a nice old lady on the way home. Then I did some work on the web site until about 11am when I got ready to go to see Andrea in London for lunch. I got to Moulsecoomb about 11.30am and got my ticket. The train was meant to come at 11.38 but it was delayed and I missed my connection at Brighton. I eventually got to Warren Street and Andrea's building at 1.30pm and we went for lunch at a really nice Thai place. Then we strolled back to Andrea's office to collect her stuff and go but of Andrea's colleagues wanted us to stay around for a bit. Had a nap on the train and got to Brighton at about 5pm. I picked up the car which had had a bit of work done on it and parked in the underground car park near the thistle hotel and went to the prodigal to meet Mark and Debs. They turned up about 5.45pm. ||
| Got up later than usual today as Andrea was going out with her work lot for drinks so wasn't going in until little later. I came home after dropping her off at 8.30am and apart from popping out briefly to Sainsbury's in the afternoon to get some Valentines day stuff, I spent the rest of the day doing some tidying and playing on the computer. In the morning I eventually managed to get hold of World Vision to accept their offer and then I phoned Tim Hopkins at TW CAT to decline his offer. He was really good about it. I did try and leave the door open for some contract work on the 2 days I'll be off. Also we were waiting all day to hear about the funding for Andrea's job at Sussex Uni. Finally at about 3.30pm we got the news that the funding came through and that she's got the job! It was a big relief. Andrea had her leaving drinks after work and I picked her up from Brighton station at about 9pm. When we got back in doors we can a beer to celebrate our new jobs and then went bed about 10pm | ||

| Got up about 8am, had breakfast then went to church for 10am. Andrea was doing the Creche and I sat with Andy and Jenny. Tim Symonds was preaching from John 1:43-51 about being lost and being found. We chatted to quite a few people after the service. Alex and Cat were there and I chatted to Dave and Emma as well. Also talked to Laura Treener about the web site and giving that a general revamp. Got home about 1.30pm but while we were driving dad phoned and spoke to Andrea to say that he had had an accident in the car. He was alright but the car was fairly damaged. When we home Andrea made a lovely pasta dish and then she prepared for doing the evening offering prayer. Went back to church for 5.30pm as Andrea was singing. I set up the tea and coffee and then helped DT out with a few bits. Dave preached a great sermon about the end of the world form 2 Peter 3:1-13. Roast Dinner Sorted Kitchen Plan Out At Wickes Watched Films |
||
| Got up about 8am, had a little headache but not too bad. Left to pick up Atkins for orienteering at 9am. That was really good. It was at Park Wood near Hailsham. Andrea and Atkins went round together and I went on my own. Peter Drake recognised me from university which was nice. We all did the orange course which was fairly hard. I got lost a couple of times. Finally finished and waited for Atkins and Andrea to finish. They took a little longer as they'd got really lost. Then we all came home knackered and Andrea cooked a lovely roast dinner and make some millionaire short bread. After dinner we loafed on the couch for a while. My headache got bad and then we went to Wickes to change the kitchen plans a bit, dropping Atkins home on the way. Got that all sorted. Got home and we watched the end of `Power Puff Girls The Movie`. Then `Dr Dolittle 2` was on telly so we watched that then watched a bit of `My Big Fat Greek Wedding` but fell asleep about half way through. | ||

Went
to London For The Day
Went To Borough Market Went To Tate Modern Had Lunch At A Turkish Restraurant Got Final World Vision Job Offer Saturday Night Fever At Victoria Apollo |
||
| Got up about 8am had breakfast and then got ourselves ready to go to London for the day. We left the house about 10.15am and walked down to Moulsecoomb station to get the 10.38am train to Brighton. Once there we got a coffee from a piece of cake as the flying coffee bean had a really queue. This was a terrible mistake as the coffee was disgusting. Then we got a a really crappy thameslink train to London Bridge. Once there though, we found our way to the Borough Market which was really good. Loads of food to try as you walked around. We got really hungry looking at all the food so we bought some honey cashews and some cinnamon apple segments to munch on. When we they gone we went and bought a chirzo sausage burger! After looking around the market for about an hour and a half we went inside the Southwark Cathedral, then we walked along the river past the Globe Theatre to the Tate Modern. We went in there and had a rest at the cafe part and got some hot chocolates. Then we had a look at some of the `art`, of which about 99.9% was absolute rubbish, although I did quite like the box installation. We didn't spend too long in there so after that we went to the Turkish restaurant that Dad had recommended. That was great! We had complementary soup and olives and bread. Then we order a Pides which are a bit like a pizza but loads thinner and shaped like a boat. Lovely! We then left to go to Victoria and on the way Andrew Barton from World Vision phoned to say they had finalised the package they could offer me and it was better than before. That made up my mind as we'd prayed that if it was the right job to take over the TW CAT job then they would offer me a better deal than before. So we went for a beer to celebrate then made our way to the Victoria Apollo where we had booked tickets to see Saturday Night Fever. The theatre was amazing and the show was good. Afterwards we went to the Molly O'Gradys pub at Victoria station for a gin and tonic and then we went to Garfunkels for a burger and a bottle of wine. Got the train after that and slept most of the way home. Didn't wait long for a taxi at Brighton to take us home which was great. Got in about 11pm | ||

I went out to post a parcel down the road about 9.30am and got chatting to some old guy in the queue about allotments etc. Came home and played half-life for a while and tidied up. About midday Tim Hopkins from TW CAT phoned and offered me the job of Data Manager there! Great news but it will make it hard to choose between the two jobs. After lunch I sat and read the bible passage for the home group study but I feel asleep for an hour. Felt very groggy when I woke up. Then tidied the bathroom and played some more half-life. Then prepared the study for tonight and then went to pick up Andrea at 5.45pm. We had chilli for dinner which was very nice. At 7.30pm we went to pick up Louise Stevenson and went to home group at Andy and Jennys. That was really good and Louise seemed to enjoy it as well. | Dropped Andrea off at Moulsecoomb and then came home and had breakfast. Prayed and read my bible and then some tidying up etc. Installed half-life on my PC and played that for a while. Then I made a chilli ready for tomorrow and got ready for my second interview at TW CAT in Brighton. I got there at 2.50pm and saw the Chief Exec and the director of the account amangers as well. It went OK but not as well as the first interview. They said they'd let me know by the end of the week. I was glad to get it all out of the way. Came home and chilled for a bit and played some more half-life on the PC and then went to Sainsburys and did a bit of shopping. Then went to get Andrea straight form there. Popped home to drop the shopping off and then we went to Alpha. We got there a bit early so we went in the kitchen and chatted to Jenny Bovington for a while. It was a really good seeion. Philip D spoke about `How Can I Be Sure Of My Faith`. We had a really good discussion and opened up the bibles as well. Dropped Dan home afterwards and we got in about 10.30pm. | ||

Roast Dinner Gunnell Did Offering Prayer in Evening Service |
||
| Got up about 8am as Andrea had to be at church for 9am. I felt pretty washed out so I dropped Andrea at church and then came home again. Then went back to church for 10.20am and helped with the door upstairs as Cara was away. DT preached from John 1:35-42. It was all about spending time with Jesus. Good sermon. Didn't stay long afterwards but I did speka to a new asain guy called Alex. Cam home but still felt very tired.Andrea cooked a really nice roast dinner with really fluffy roast potatoes. Andrea had to be back at church for 5pm so I dropped her off again and come hometo prepare my prayer for the offering that evening. By the time I'd finished it I was late for church! DT preached again from 2 Peter 3:10-22. Fantastic sermon. I went up to front for prayer at the end of the service and DT prayed for me. Then we went home as Andrea didn't feel too great. When we got home we watched an hour of `The Bridge On the River Kwai` | ||

Went to Town
Me and Dad Try and Put Light Up in Garage Went To Atkins's For Dinner |
||
| Woke up about 8am and got up. Felt knackered and had a headache but Dad was here and he was up and Andrea was up so I got up! Had lots of tea and some breakfast, then Andrea went to town shopping and me and Dad had a go at putting the light up in the garage. BY about 12.30pm we still hadn't managed it even with another trip to B+Q to buy an extra strip light in case the one we had was faulty. Andrea had bought some soup while she was out so we had that for lunch with some nice bread. I had a headache all day so after dad left about 2.30pm I had a sleep for an hour. Got up and watched the last 25 minutes of England v Wales 6 nations. We won. Atkins texted us to ask if we'd like to go round hers for dinner so we just chilled for the rest of the afternoon and then got ready for the evening. Got to Atkins's about 7 and Bruce Lee + Ce arrived just after us, we had a nice evening together. Atkins cooked some pasta and we all played boulderash. Atkins showed us round her place where she is renting a room off Liz. She also showed us pictures of the place she is buying with her brother. Got home about 11pm | ||

Sussex
Prayer Breakfast
Dad Came Over Went to Andys Put up Mirror in Our Bedroom Went To Thai Connection |
||
| Dropped Andrea off at Moulsecoomb for 7am and then drove to the courtlands hotel in Hove for the Sussex Prayer Breakfast meeting that Andy had invited me to. Because there was no traffic at that time I was there in 10 minutes so I sat in my car for a bit. I saw Peter Ford walk past so I got out and said hello. He was on his way to the hotel so I walked in with him and we saw Andy outside. It was a really good event, 10 or so people there. I spoke to a guy called Dave who was an arcitect. He was interesting. We had a big fry up which was great and lots of tea or coffee. Peter Ford spoke for a few minutes which was excellent and then we prayed. Left about 8.30am and came back home and did a few jobs around the house. Then Dad came over about midday after Alpha which he really enjoyed. At about 2.15 we went to B+Q to get a light for the garage, but I realised I was meant to be meeting Andy at 3pm! so I once we got home I rushed over and was about 20 minutes late. That was really good though we had a good chat and prayed together. When I got home me and Dad had a look at putting this light up in the garage, but decided it was too dark now to do much. So we put the mirror up in our bedroom. That took a little while as we kept getting it wrong. We just about managed to get it right on the wall before I wen to collect Andrea. Then we all relaxed for a while and had a couple of beers. I phoned for a taxi to take us to a curry house on Blatchington Road but when we got there the taxi driver said that the Thai place opposite was fantastic so we went in their instead and he wasn't wrong! Very good food. The place was called Thai Connections. Probably the best Thai food I've had. Got a taxi home about 11pm and Andrea wen tot bed but me and Dad stayed up and watched an episode of the simpson season 2. | ||

Last
Day at WWF
Fire at the Garden Centre Home Group |
||
| Dropped Andrea at the station for 7am and went straight to work. This will probably be my last day at WWF. I had an interesting journey to work. I needed fuel so I planned to go the garage at Henfield but that one didn't have any diesel, so I had to turn around and go back to the garage at the A281 / A23 junction. As I was driving though I saw a large fire at the back on the garden centre there. It looked to big to be a bonfire and it was only 7.10am! so I turned around and went to investigate. I pulled up to the garden centre and there were plenty of people in there they didn't seem bothered so I left it and wen to get my petrol. Made me half an hour late for work. I thought I'd probably only stay an hour or so but Michelle had a long list of jobs for me to do and I ended up staying till 3pm with no lunch break! Then I came home and sorted out the house for home group and prepared the study. Home group was really good we had 8 of us. It was a really good bight as there hadn't been a home group for about 6 or 7 weeks!. After that Andrea went to bed and I watched some `Hots Shots`. Which was OK but not as good as I remember it | ||
