| Andrea took the car to work today as Dad was coming down for 9am. We had a cup of tea and then we drove to church. Dad went to alpha and I went in the office for a few hours to work on the church profile some more. Then we left about midday and came home and got some lunch ready. Andrea got home about 1.30pm and worked form home the rest o the afternoon. After lunch me and dad went to topps tiles to pick up the kitchen tiles. And then we all sat and had some coffee and dads lemon curd sponge cake. Very nice. Then I did some tidying while Andrea did a bit of work. Dad did all our ironing and then I made a lasagne for tonight. Dad left about 6.30pm and then I tidied up the house a bit and got ready for Paul and Amanda coming over in the evening. I had to make a quick outting to the shop to get some cream though as I'd forgotten that on my shop. Paul and Amanda came over about 8pm. Had a really nice evening with them. They stayed till about 11.30pm or so. I then stayed up and watched a couple of simpson season 2 episodes | ||

| Dropped Andrea off at work just after 9am and then came home and did some tidying up etc for a while. Then I drove to church for about 10.30am and meet with Dave for about half an hour talking thorough some of the stuff for the church profile. Then I sat in the office and did that for a few hours and made a good start on that really. Left there about 12.30pm and went straight to sainsburys to get a load of shopping in then got home and put all of that away. Had some lunch. Picked Andrea up a bit early which was nice. In the evening we went to Wendy and Cara's place for a bit of a home group social. That was good we took a couple of pizzas and had a good evening. Simon and Jenny came and so did Ben a bit later. We stayed till about 11.30pm | ||

| Had lots of little bits I did round the house during the day and worked on the data clean job for world vision. Went to pick Andrea up at 5pm and then we had some dinner. Andrea still wasn't feeling to great so she gave the church meeting a miss but I went along. Not much to report really, but Dick was very funny presenting the account. The guy is a comic genius! Got back home about 10pm and watched the end of the special extended version of "lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring" | ||

Hour Meeting

| Got to work dead on 9am to discover I was meant to be at a meeting at the hotel over the road. So grabbed my stuff and went over there only to find Iris and Fiona walking back to the office. But then we discovered it was in fact over there we'd just been a tad early. So back we went for a 3 hour meeting! nice! the rest of the day I felt a bit jaded from that really but it went quick enough really. Left about 5pm and had a fairly good run back home to collect Andrea. Was only in for a 15 minutes or so before leaving again to drive to church for Alpha. That was good this one was "Why should I get Baptised" and we were joined by a couple of new faces on our table. Eloees and her mum. Eloees was interest in baptism and her mum wanted to find out a bit more about baptism and Christianity in general really. It was a really good evening and it answered a lot of questions for them. We left there about 10pm, gave Dan a lift home and then went straight home when I got in I watched a bit more of the special extended version of "lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring" | ||

| Got up early and packed everything up for worked. I was a little later leaving than I intended so didn't leave the house until 6.45am. Had a fairly bad journey to work. Took 2 hours 45minutes. Had an day. It got better as the day went on. I had a call from the B&B saying that they messed up their booking and the only room they had was their spare room in their house! no worries though. In the evening I got back to the B+B had a bath and phoned Andrea. Then spoke to Dad and then wen tout to get petrol and have dinner at the out and out pub. That was OK but it very over priced for what you get. Then cam back to the B+B watched a simpsons episode and then started to watch the special extended version of "lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring" that was good. I watched until around 11.30pm then had to turn it off | ||

| Got up and put on our stuff to go orienteering but as Andrea hadn't been feeling to great we decided not to go in the end. As the morning went on she felt worse and worse. A bit of a cold. I did some stuff around the house and went food shopping in the morning. I did some soup for lunch with crusty rolls. Andrea had gone to bed so I had lunch in bed with her. After that I went over to Hove to see Sean Chapman and to do his church membership interview. He lived in a funny 70's block on flats that would have been seen as very modern in their time. It was nice and big and top floor with lots of big windows that gave a great view. Got there at 3pm and was done by 4pm. Then went home and made the lasagne ready for that evening when we had Gava and Mellissa coming over. Andrea felt a little better by the evening. Gava and Mellissa came over about 8pm Gava brought me a present which he said was a delayed birthday present. It was trivial pursuits 90's which was questions all from the 1990's. We played that boys verses girls and the boys lost very badly. Good evening though. | ||

| Dropped Andrea off at work. Did a load of tidying up and washing in the morning. The guys from wickes came about 11am to deliver the kitchen which was great as it meant that me and Dad wouldn't have to hang around waiting for them. Dad came over about midday and we had a cup of tea and then went to pick Andrea up and we then went to the new market inn on the A27 for lunch. That was good. While we were there Dad booked the cottage for swanage. After that We dropped Andrea back at the Uni and then me and Dad went to B&Q to get some wood to put up on the ceiling of the garage to make that a bit nicer and also some fold up crates. Then we dropped them back in the garage and loaded the car with the last lot of stuff that needed to go to the dump. Dropped that off and then went straight to the post office to pick a package for Andrea and from there we went Topps Tiles on the Old Shoreham Road. The traffic was really bad though and it took ages. When we got there we sorted out our order and the guy came out to load the tiles in the car but Dad noticed that they were the wrong colour. Turned out the guy who wrote the original order had written wrong and the actual tiles we want were not in stock so I had to order them in. By that time it was time to go straight back to the Uni to pack Andrea at 5pm! Dad stayed for a cup of tea and then he went about 6.30pm | ||

| Got up and dropped Andrea at work for 9am. Then drove to church to meet Andy to go on the doors. That was good we had a few good chats with people. Finished that about 10.30am and then I went to meet Dave Treener and have a chat about doing some stuff at church on a Thursday. Stayed there chatting and praying for about half an hour or so and then drove up the WWF to see some folks there and go out for lunch. It was a really nice today and the drive was fairly pleasant. We wen tout the Pizza Pizaz on the high street which was nice. Mark, Jez, Lawrence, Shelly and Andy all come out. Good to see them all. Then drove home and got in about 3.45pm. I then went to pick Andrea up at about 4.30pm so we were home by 5pm. I cooked some dinner and we waited for Mr Wells the plumber to turn up as he was going to be looking at putting the new boiler in for us. He came about 6.30pm or so and had a look. We decided that it would be best for it to go in the upstairs airing cupboard. After he went we had to really quickly eat some dinner and then drive over to Grahame and Margaret's for the pastoral search team meeting. That was a good meeting and we left there about 9.30pm | ||

| Andrea went for a run in the morning and I dropped her at work for 9.30am or so. Then did a bit of tidying up and then pretty much just worked all day really. Picked Andrea up at 5pm and when we got home we had a look at the home study for that evening but it wasn't very good so we decided we'd just see what people wanted to talk about in home group instead. It was a small meeting at Jenny and Simons. Just 4 of us but it was really good. We prayed about people we knew who had wondered from the faith and stuff. A really good evening. Then home to bed! | ||

| Would have been Mums Birthday today. Got up and had the usual fry up at the B+B then went in for a days work. That was OK I had plenty to do really all day. I went to meet Iris at a company called ERM which was just up the road from World Vision so that was a bit different. Left work about 4.45pm and had a good run back to church. Was there at 7pm. I went in to the main hall to see Andrea as she had singing practice and then help to set up things for Alpha. We had a smaller group this week just Andrea, Me, Dan and Franchessca. It was a good talk by Dave Treener `What about the Church?` After Alpha we dropped Dan home and then came straight back home ourselves. | ||

| Got up early for work. Got in the car about 6.30am but didn't have a great journey. It took about 3 hours this morning! Work was OK though, although I had to miss the devotional time today as it was the only time Iris (my boss) could catch up with me. After work I went back to woodleys farmhouse B+B and checked in. Again I had to wait a while to find them and then for her to get my room ready but no worries. I think I'll have tried every room in that B+B before long! Had a bath then spoke to Andrea and then Dad on the phone. After that I drove to the high street in Woburn Sands to get petrol and get some money out. Then I went to the out & out pub / restaurant thingy. The restaurant was fairly busy today so I sat in there. Had a nice meal and some Guiness. I was fairly hungry so I had the 3 course meal. Also I finished off my Poirot book that I'd been reading. That was good. Finished my meal and was back to the B+B about 8.30pm I think. Then watched "Platoon" which was pretty good. | ||

| We both went to church early today as Andrea was signing so I helped out DT before the service doing a few jobs. Also I was on welcome. After welcome I then went on security again as the people who were meant to do it were either ill or away. Tim Symonds preach from James 5 which was good. After the service I hung around for a little bit getting people to sign a petition against the proposed extension to Sunday opening hours. We were back to church early again in the evening as Andrea was singing then too. I went to the prayer meeting before the service. Dave Treener preached from Jonah 2 which was great. After church we came home and watched "Plant Earth" which was great. This weeks episode was all about rivers. | ||

| Clare came to Dads for about 9.30 then about 10.30am we went to Rustington. As it would have been Mums birthday on the 21st. We stopped at a garden centre to get some flowers to put on mums memorial and had a cup of coffee there as well. Then drove to Rustingon to put the flowers there. There were some daffs growing there already and the flowers we put in last time were still going as well which was nice. Then we went to Littlehampton to a pub called Arun View for lunch, which overlooked the river. That was nice and it was a nice sunny day. Then we came home about 3pm cleared out under the stairs all afternoon. Then we chilled out in the evening | ||

| After dropping Andrea bit later at work about 9.30am I went straight down to Hove to drop my car off for the stereo and amp to be fitted. While I waited for that I had a little walk up George street looking in a few shops. Bought a CD and then went to a coffee shop and got a large coffee and sat and read my book for a half an hour. Picked the car up and was pleased with the stereo! then drove to halfords to get a tyre inflator and some screen wash and then went to B+Q to get a couple of bits. Then came home and Dad arrived just after I got in. Then me and dad went to meet Andrea for lunch. We went into the lab and showed dad around and then we went to the new market inn for lunch which was nice. Then dad came back to mine and just after we got in Anne and Mike turned up and dropped something off for dad. Then they all went about 3pm. I picked Andrea up from work at 5pm and then we came home for an hour and then drove to Dads. Got there about 7pm and then Sue and Andy from across the road from Dads came over for dinner at 8pm that was a good evening. They stayed till about 11.30pm or so | ||

| Dropped Andrea at work in the morning. Came home for an hour or so and then drove up to Lyndhurst rest home to meet with Yvonne and a couple of others from Brighton and Hove City Mission. That was good we went in the rest home and prayed together first and then went into the main lounge there and took the service. It was lots of singing which the old folk seemed to like and then a guy called Mark from Calvary church did a short talk for 5 minutes or so. Then more singing and then talking and praying with the old folk. It was good. We left about midday and I came home and did some work. Picked Andrea up at 5pm and then we finished of planning the home group study. Had some dinner and then went to Andy and Jenny's for home group at 8pm | ||

| We both went to church early which was good. Got there for 9.30am Andrea was singing and I went to help DT before the service. Did a couple of jobs and then went on to do welcome at 10am. After that I stayed out with mark cox to do security as he was on his own. We left fairly sharpish after the service so we could get up dads quickly. When we go there Clare Dee and ali were already there. Had a cup of tea etc. Dad was doing well after his hernia operation. We went up the white hart in chipstead for lunch which was really nice. It was very posh up there now. We had a lovely meal . got there at 2pm and didn't leave until about 4pm. Then we walked up to the pond in chipstead which is somewhere we used to go when we were little to collect frog spawn and stuff. Came back home and we were all really stuffed! we'd missed the time to get back to Brighton for church so we stayed up at dads for a bit and I helped him do some stuff on the computer. We left about 7pm or so. Got home and Andrea did a massive load of ironing and I got ready for going to work the next day. Then we watched the plant earth programme on BBC1 and by the end of that I was falling asleep! | ||

| Went to the mens breakfast 9-11am at church. That was good Dave Treeners dad Mike did a good talk. About 1ish we went out to the druids for a pint and saw Gava which was nice. Then we drove into town about 3pm but it was really really busy and there was hardly anywhere to park. We eventually got parked and we went to Zizzi's for lunch which was nice. After that we came home had a beer and we watched `Dazed and Confused` which was OK but not as good as I remembered it. After that we were going to go out again or get a take away but in the end we just stayed in and finished off the chicken casserole that Andrea had made a few days ago and we watched `Caddyshack` which had a few laugh but on the whole was a bit naff. Andrea was tired so she had a sleep | ||

Then came start back to the Uni to pick Andrea up. We were meant to have Paul and Amanda over for dinner but after we got home she texted to say they were baby sitting for Oliver so we just chilled out in the evening really | ||

Got there about 10.30pm and we sat with Matt which was nice, then Alex randomly turned up about 11pm which was great and we all had a birthday drinks. We left about midnight. | ||

| My first day at World Vision. Got up early about 6.30am and got in the car and was on the road by 7.15am bad traffic on A23 due to crash on the M25 so took 2 and 3 quarter hours to get to world vision. Had a devotional time which is like a mini church service and the founders daughter was speaking which was very poweful. They took me out to lunch which was nice. Stayed at a B+B called woodleys farmhouse B+B about 15mins drive away. Drove to find a high street and got petrol and sandwich for dinner. Watched simpsons had early night. | ||

| I dropped Andrea off at church for 9am then came home and went back there for 10.30am. Tim Symonds preached the AM service. Andrea had to be back at church at 5.30pm so I dropped off her and then went for a stroll on the sea front as it was a nice evening. Then I went in and caught the end of the prayer meeting. Danny Pritchard from woodingdean Baptist preached the PM service which was really really good. Great preacher. Came home a bit sharpish after that and watched the plant earth series on BBC1 | ||

| Got up and went orienteering at Buxted Park. We had to go off road a bit to get to the car park and I got stuck a bit and the parking attendant had to push me out!. Came home a made chilli tortillas for lunch then we slept for a bit on the sofa. We went to Alex's naming ceremony at 4pm. That was really good. We all meet at Old Orleans in town and then went over to the town hall for the ceremony which was great. Then we all went to the Druids for the party. | ||

| Dad went off the Alpha. I was meant to go to Sussex prayer breakfast but I had a horrible headache. At about 10.30am I went back to bed to for an hour or so. When I woke up I still had it but not as bad. Then Dad came over about midday and we had lunch and then did another 2 trips to the dump with stuff from the garage. Now it is all sorted out and tidy in there. Fantastic! Then dad went home about 4pm and I went to pick up Andrea at 5. We went over to Juliet and Jamies in the evening for a meal that was nice. We cooked a roast dinner and then watched a bit of telly in the evening but we all fell asleep very early | ||

Andrea first day at work today .I dropped Andrea off at Sussex Uni for 9am. It only took 15 mins to get there! Alot better than the 2 hours it took Andrea to get to London. Then I went to Andys 10.30am for payer. Did admin stuff rest of the day and played a computer game tiberain sun. In the evening we had home group at Dariushs house. Good meeting we stayed till about 11pm |
