Had Our 21 Week Scan

Went for a run first thing. Did well and felt good afterwards. Then Nick and Dad came over to drop off the wood for the wardrobe doors. Then Nick stayed all day working on that. I did some house work till around 11.30am when Andrea came home and went off to have our 21 week scan at the Royal Sussex County hospital. We were a bit early but when we got there we discovered we'd left all our pregnancy papers and info at home so we dashed back and got it all and then came back to the hospital to have the scan. That was really good. Amazing to see the baby again. We couldn't find out what sex the baby was though as the scan operator couldn't get a good view. After that we came home and had lunch and then Andrea went off to work and I did some house work and stuff on the computer reinstalling all my software from when I had to reinstall windows the other day. Just chilled out in the evening and watched `Saints and Soldiers` which was pretty good

Andrea went to church early as she was singing in the AM service. Me and Sean Chapman did the tea and coffee after the service. Then we came home for lunch. Didn't do much in the afternoon. I popped to B&Q to pick up a gardening brochure but they didn't have any. Andrea left early for the evening service as her and Annie were leading worship. Ken Benjamin from Chichester Baptist Church preached the evening service. He was very good. We hung around a fair bit after the service chatting.

Went for a run first thing, but found it a bit hard going. Again though I felt good afterwards. At around 10am I drove to Andy's in Hove and from there we went in his car to the retirement home we going to do our first service there. It was a really nice home. Very big. The manageress was very nice and there were 16 or so old folk in the lounge ready and waiting for us. It went really really well and we both had a fantastic time. The old folk were lovely. One guy called Harry made a commitment there. I got home about 12.45pm and Dad was already here. We had a chat and a cup of tea and then took a load of stuff from the garage to the dump. We had to do two trips in the end. After that we came home and I showed Dad the allotment plot. When we got there it had already been strimmed so we're ready to start doing something with it. Andrea got home while were there so she phoned me and she came down to look at it as well. Then we went back to the house and got ready to go out for something to eat. We decided to go to the marina, and ended up in `Frankie & Bennys` The service was lousy as is the case in every restaurant in the UK but the food was nice. We had a good time and then dad dropped us back at the house and then made his way home.

Went for breakfast at the Olives restaurant as usual, then came back to the room and got ready to go. We checked out and then waited for our taxi. While we waited we went on the terrace from the lobby and took a few photos. The taxi turned up pretty quick and we went to the airport. We got checked in no worries and went through to the departure lounge and got a McDonalds. Got on the plane in good time. The flight was a bit crappy though. It took a little bit of time getting out of Gatwick but we made it OK and found Dad waiting for us. We drove back to our house and got in about 9pm. We had some toast and chilled out as we were knackered. We all had an early night

After breakfast Olives we went down to the beach for a bit. But it soon got too hot so we retreated back to the swimming pool where we stayed until about 4.30pm. Then we came back to the room and packed a few things ready to leave tomorrow, and got ready for dinner, but Andrea wasn't feeling great. We went out for dinner at the rotisserie which we'd really been looking forward to but Andrea felt rotten and couldn't eat anything. I ate up my dinner sharpish and we went back to our room. Half way there the little golf cart came by and offered us a lift! About 9pm we ordered a milk shake for Andrea from room service which after a few mouthfuls made her sick. In fact she was sick a lot. But afterwards she felt much better and finished her milk shake!
