| Had a lot on today really. First thing was door 2 door with Andy. That went well. We bumped into a bunch of JW's. After that it was back to church to meet up Sue Morris and do some access database stuff with her. That was good we got a fair bit done. Then I meet with Laura and did some web site stuff which was also good. After that I came home and meet Andrea for lunch and from there went to the hospital for my appointment with the specialist. I had to wait 1 and a quarter hours to get seen after my appointment time, but when I did he just checked me out a bit and arranged loads of tests in the next 2 months. Didn't get back form there till late really. In the evening we were going to to the Salvation Army carol concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Target Direct who do some work for World Vision had a few tickets to give away so I grabbed a couple. Got up to London OK really, but we missed the reception before hand and only arrived 5 minutes before it started. We were in a box which was very posh. The Royal Albert Hall is amazing! The Concert was very good as well. That finished at 10pm and then we just made our way home. Didn't get in till midnight. | |

| Worked at home today. Was a bit boring really. Andrea came home for lunch though. The petrol strimmer arrived in the post as well so I put that together. When Andrea got home from work we went through the home group study together which was good. Home group was at Andy and Jenny's and we had a really good meeting. | |

| Went to church in the morning. I was on security. It was a really good sermon from Andy Pitt. After church we popped into Sainsbury's briefly and then came home. Then I went straight back out to pick up Clare and we all had lunch. After lunch I scanned her CV in to the computer. They left about 4pm and then I played on the play station for a bit before we went to the evening service. That was good as well. | |

| Clare and Dee came over about 10am as Dee was decorating the spare room. We had a nice lunch together of beef casserole and then in the afternoon Andrea, Clare and Me went to Toys R Us to get s few bits for the baby's room. They left about 7pm and we just watched a bit of TV in the evening | |

| Did some more work on the church web site in the morning and had forgotten to go to Andy's to meet for the going to the service at Homelys. He phoned me to see where I was! Drove up there and meet him there and we took the service. That went really well. After that I came home and had some lunch with Andrea. In the afternoon I went to B&Q to look at petrol strimmer for the allotment and also did some shopping at Asda. In the evening we decided to go to the Crowborough birthing unit. We went there and the lady gave us a tour of the place and everything. On reflection though we think we'll go for a home birth. | |

Car Off For Repairs |

| Went to drop my car off to be repaired first thing in the morning and then walked up from there to the laptop shop where Andy picked me up for door to door. In the end we just spent some time praying for the door to door ministry. After that I meet up with Laura Treener and we did some web site work which was good. Then I got a bus to the garage and picked up my car which was fixed from when that guy had gone into the back of it. Then came home for lunch and Andrea also came home. Didn't do too much in the afternoon. Just a bit of admin and tidying really. In the evening we watched `Lord Of War` which was OK but not all that. | |

| Got got at 5.30am today as I was going to Glasgow. Andrea went out out to watch the 10km run that Dad, Ian and Mike were doing. I Got to the airport car park OK and went through all the security checks all fine at the airport. It was fairly quite at that time. I got a McDonalds breakfast and ate that while I waited for my flight. Had a pleasant flight there. Finished my book on the way (Voyage Of The Dawn Treader). Landed at Glasgow and got a bus into town. Then had to walk about half an hour to the church I was going to. That was really good I meet the pastor and his wife. Had a great service there and then went back to their house for lunch which was a pleasant surprise. That even dropped me back at the airport! The flight home was a bit busier and Gatwick was busy when I got back. Eventually got home about 8pm. Went to bed about 9pm! | |

| Slept in late today which was nice. Mid morning I went to Sainsbury's to get some shopping. Then we tidied the house a bit and Andrea's friend Rebecca arrived about 2pm. We had lunch and chatted with her for a while. About 3.30pm we went over to Anne and Mikes for coffee. Juliet and the boys were there as well. We stayed there until about 6.30pm and then drove into town. Rebecca was going out for a meal with loads fo family so we were planning to go for a quick drink first, but when we got there she bumped into the rest of her family who said they were all meeting now. So Rebecca went off with them and me and Andrea went to Fat Leos for a meal instead. That was nice. Then we came home and watched the last few episodes of `Lost: Season 2` | |

Had Busy Days |

| I had a busy today and so did Andrea. Andrea was giving a talk to her lab in the morning and then had to do loads of work through out the day as well, so she couldn't have a lunch break. I went to a new dentist in Kemptown at 10.30am. It was a guy who used to to Holland Road. He was very good. After that I took my crutches back to the A+E department. Then I drove to Palmeria square to meet Larissa to get the voluntary sector directory off her. She was doing some work at a friends place. The friends place was amazing! A lovely ground floor flat in Adelaide crescent. Very nice! As she'd been a bit hammered the night before though she'd forgot it! no worries though. Then I went up to Church to give a mortgage form to Mike. Spoke to Dave briefly. Then went to London road to pay a cheque in for Andrea. Got home about 1.30pm and had a rest! Did some tidying etc. Went to the doctors at 3pm to get Andrea GP note for flying on Sunday but they said she had to be seen by the GP so we couldn't get it. When Andrea got home I went and got some fish and chips and we watched a couple of `Lost: Season 2` episodes. Then we went up to the Hanover and meet Atkins, Minton, Matt, Kate, Micah and Chippy. That was a good night. Got back home about midnight. | |

| I went to see my accountant first thing today. Only stayed about 15 minutes. Just had to drop some stuff for him really. Then went to church to help Sue Morris with some mail merge stuff. Then helped Laura with the web site. Got home about 1pm for lunch Dad and Andrea were there as Dad had come down to get the last of old wallpaper off in the blue room. We had lunch then Dad did more wallpaper stripping. At about 3.30pm I went over Sean Chapman's for a hour and a half. Then came home and Andrea made a cheese sauce to have with some pasta. Had that and then drove down to the George to meet Jon, Larissa, Josh and Mike. That was a good evening. I dropped Josh and Larissa home and got about 12.30am | |

| Got up early and drove to work. I had a good day at work though and went to the cafe at Marks and Spencer's with Fiona at lunch time and she showed me her photos from Japan. Drove back after work and popped home very briefly before going out again with Andrea to church to interview one of the senior pastor candidates with the rest of the PST team. That was a really good experience. We didn't get home again until about 11pm! | |

| Went to church in the morning. Andrea was singing. Tim Symonds announced he was leaving in the new year to go full time at New Hope. After church we went for a roast in the Druids. Saw Matt and Gava. Atkins and Minton joined us well. That was really good to see everyone. After that we came and I wrote a sermon to give at Lyndhurst later that week and Andrea had a nap. Then we looked into booking up Glasgow for next Sunday. After that we were cream crackered so we didn't go to church in the evening. I was asleep by 9.15pm! | |

Sainsbury's Felt a bit ruff in the morning. Woke up with a headache. Went to Sainsbury's first thing in the morning. Chris and Jodie came over about 11.45am with their little girl Connie. That was good to see them and the baby. We had lunch together and caught up and then about 3pm Gareth and Louise popped round with their two children. That was a really good afternoon. They all left about 5.30pm or so and was were worn out after that! Didn't do too much in the evening. |

| Andrea felt a bit better so she went into work today. I Had a busy day today. I went to church for 10am to meet Sue Morris to help her with some Access stuff but she didn't turn up until 10.30am. Spent half an hour with her. On the way there some guy drove into the back of my car. Not too much damage though. After that I came home and got changed then drove up to WWF to see a few people there. We went to lunch at Hectors. After lunch I went to John West's Retirement party at the Manor. That was really good and very nice to see him and his wife. Didn't get back home until about 7pm or so. We had some dinner and watched `Transporter 2` which was OK. A lot better than the first one. | |

Wasn't Well So Stayed At Home |

| Andrea still wasn't very well today so she stayed home again. First thing in the morning me and Dad had a nice breakfast and then went to the allotment to see if there was anything we could do but it had all grown over again and would need strimming. Then we came back to the house and did some wall paper stripping in the spare room I went to meet Andy at church for 11.15am to do some door to door. Only got to speak to one old lady. I had to go to the dentist for a teeth clean about 2.30pm that was a nightmare. I was waiting for 20 minutes till I got seen to and then she cut my gums the shreds. After that I came home and then Dad left a bit after that. In the evening I went to a new all can eat place in town called Wokmania. I picked up Chippy, Alex and Chand and then we meet Micah and his mate Alan in there. It was a good evening but the I wouldn't go back there in a hurry, not as good as buffet island. | |

| Andrea wasn't very well today. She had a cold so didn't go into work. I Worked from home all day today. Dad came over about 5pm but I ended up working until about 6pm which was annoying. Then Andrea dropped Dad and me off at the Harvey's Brewery at 6.30pm for our tour. That was really good. The managing director of the brewery showed us around and he was really good. At the end we stayed for about an hour or so boozing with him at the brewery. Excellent tour. | Andrea went to church early as she was singing. Dad dropped me there later. After church we came home and cooked a roast and watched a bit of TV. In the evening I discovered that the boiler had broken down! I went over to see Derek across the road and he said he'd pop over later and have a look at it. Then I drove to the evening service, but by the time I got there my foot was hurting. After the service Andrea managed to find the valve to refill the boiler and fixed it! I went over to tell Derek not to come round and ended up stayed an hour and a half there as Bruce and Fleur were there as well! | |

| In the morning Andrea and I cleared some old stuff out of the study cupboard and the spare room. Then I drove to the garden centre at Ditchling and we had a look round there and had lunch there as well. It was a nice day and was good to get out. In the afternoon I watched an episode of `Blue Planet`. About 6pm Dad, Clare, Dee, Anne and Mike all arrived and we made some flasks of hot chocolate for the fireworks display. We got there too late to get a seat but the display we fantastic as usual. After the display my foot was really hurting so Andrea drove instead and we all went up to the pub at Devils Dyke for some dinner. After that we came back home back home and pretty much went straight to bed as we were knackered. Dad stayed over. | |

| Didn't do too much all morning really. Read some of my book and did a bit of tidying. About midday I decided to see how well I could drive with my foot as it has been a bit better. it seemed OK really so I drove to Sainsbury's and did some shopping. Then Andrea came home for lunch. In the afternoon I got a call form World Vision and they wanted me to do some urgent work for them so I did that for a few hours and then cooked a nice dinner for Andrea. In the evening we watched an episode of `Blue Planet` and had our dinner. I had been really tired all day though so I went to bed really early. | |

| Didn't really do too much today. Did a bit of work form home and that was about it really. After dinner we went to home group at Andy and Jenny's which was really good. On the way home though Andrea's car conked out. Just by the school in Bevendean. All the electrics just went. The AA guy turned up in about 20 minutes. And fixed us up and said we should run the car for half an hour so we went for a drive but as we got down the Lewes road near the bottom of South Over Street we conked out again. Same thing. So I phoned the guy back and he came out again to see us this time he found the route of the problem and we went home and ran the car for a bit more to charge the battery. Got to bed a bit before 1am in the end. | |
